What amplifire have you hooked up to your santa cruz? What type of speakers?

I am sorry, but have no clue...



Anyhow, I wanna upgrade my 25 year old DUAL (German brand, I guess) amp to connect a DD 6.1 monster to that turtle beach card...

Now where do I look for more information? Does anybody know? Can anybody help? Tell me everything I should pay attention to when buying an amp used for DVD, old 40's swing and bigband musik, and later music... no games!!! only DVD and music.

I know nothing about santa cruz's, but I just went to radio shack, and got a cable that goes from the line out / headphone jack on my sound card to the aux on my stereo. sounds great

Well this is what I am doing right now, but I just wanna have a new setup, since my current one is about to fall appart... There are only 3 speakers that I can still use, and its ... don't know the American word, is broken too... It is possible to repair, but the parts allone would cost 200$$$ and that ain't worth it...
