Same cpu, Soltek SL-75DRV4 mobo easy overclocker(KT266a mobo with ata133 too). Some good functions and it's purple too :)
Overall a nice board.

I have used the following two:
ECS K7S5A
and
SHUTTLE AK31A

In general, I am a little happer with the ECS (I don't need the extra 5% - 10% speed), it seems more stable to me.
I know other people complain about the ECS stability, but it has been rock solid for me.

I am using the SOYO K7V DRAGON PLUS, the best board I have ever owned.

I was just gonna ask if anyone was using the Dragon :D

I wonder how people like the Abit KR7-RAID? Abit always gets great reviews, but people seem to have a lot of issues with em.

The last mobo I bought was last June/July, a MSI K7 Master(AMD 761). My bro has been building systems based on the MSI NForce 420D(highend sys) and the ECS K7S5A(lowend sys) recently and has found them to be easy to setup and trouble free.

<< I was just gonna ask if anyone was using the Dragon >>

I just picked one up this weekend. All the reviews mention that Soyo sends a large ass manual BUT everyone fails to mention that there are parts of it that are just wrong (or poorly written).

After some headaches, I got a clean install of WinXP Pro (with HDs on the Promise IDE channel). I like the board--it's not the fastest, but it works well.

I just bought a MSI k7n420 Pro Nforce board. I'm having a few problems in windows 98 which should be fixed once they release drivers for it. However, I have no problems with windows 2000 on it.

Another vote for a KR7A-RAID, great motherboard, however I ended up with a faulty processor, but the motherboard owned for the 30 minutes I had my temporary processor in there. :D
