finger-Shaun:

I am still waiting for the converse of Engrish: what do you call it when Europeans mangle Chinese?

Viral ad it may be, but I enjoyed looking at the inside of a big case. You see where all that space goes, and what you could use it for.

And I am enjoying your posts, f-s. After all: Dao, ke dao ye, fei heng dao ye. (archaic version)

My wife gave a 5870 at launch day...So what?

I have a TT volcano in a bin somewhere, gonna pull it out and look at it for fun!!!

The toughpower series isnt bad for what you get either.

So much internet hate these days, I feel like the forum is turning into fox news....

no, there's no hate in that, it just seems like some add, that's all..

though,
You guys are so funny (and nice)! From engrish to 鴿子英文, hahaha. Actually, there is no 鴿子英文(pigeon Chinese). It's 中文很差.
I do like people here, no matter what.
And thanks to many friendly replies, truly.

this makes it look otherwise .

I don't think he can push it high by using better cooler. Beacuse the temperautre seem to low.
Unless he change another CPU with better qulity...^^

If I put that much effort into making graphs and everything I'd go around posting it on all the forums I visit as well.

With the lynnfield processors you mainly have to increase voltage because the BLCK is overclocking the PCIE controller as well right? That means that a lower BLCK with turboboost still on (to get to 4.4Ghz when just running a one threaded program) should be able to run at a lower voltage shouldn't it?

Yes, I think. And be ware of DIMM bus voltage. It's better not over 1.65, or you might need to return your CPU.

Yes, but when you run multi-threads, it will run only one bit plus which means you can't get too much frequency.

is that 道可道非常道 ?

Yes. What you have written is the modern version. I was studying a significantly older version unearthed from a tomb, and written on silk. In the older version the particle yeh appears twice, increasing the line to eight characters. Also, the 'chang' is a substitute for 'heng,' which apparently was the given name of an emperor, and thus could not be used.

Anyway, my exposure to classical Chinese and not spoken Chinese accounts for why I keep trying to translate character for character, rather than multi-character words.

Tt has made some good cases in the past. I have a Tt Xaser V2000 case. It's 90mm fans make it obsolete in today's world of 120mm plus size fans but its still running. Back in it's day it was considered a very good and popular case. I plan to pass it onto my parents soon because they need a cheap rig for something just to surf the net and do basic computing. I have a spare E6750 and mobo to replace the tired P4 2.8GHz CPU and Intel mobo so I'll put that into it to give them some modernization and get them out of the AGP world and into the PCIe world. It should serve a purpose for a few more years I think. <g>
