I was raised a Greek Orthodox Christian (Father) and have a Catholic mother. Of course, at my ripe old age of 28 my believes have obviously changed. I happen to believe there is something out there, intangible/omnipotent that has a form of control over our universe, or others, etc. I don't believe this "God" specifically made a role in Earth/humanity/etc and I believe in evolution. I don't believe we'll ever know nor that we are even capable of comprehending such matters.

Athiest doesn't seem correct, nor does Agnostic Athiest. Agnostic Thiest doesn't seem correct either. What am I?

Do you believe that this "god" is a god (simply just monotheist), or more along the lines that nature itself is this god? (Pantheist)
Or, if you believe god is personal, you could say Deist ...

I've pretty much had the same beliefs since I was about 6 or 7 when I questioned faith .... though, in recent years I've toned down a bit, and come to accept the fact that other people have different views. (Have always been a hard atheist, just used to think theists were all stupid/brainwashed, and have since grown up into realizing that their brains are just wired differently.)

edit: I shall continue reading. Seems to be bits of both..

How about Buddhist. Its all about loving all life and living within your means. No god, just don't be a dick and you might come back better the next time. (that last bit is controversial)

You're just a normal person.

If you are truly interested in confirming what you are, religiously, take some time to study theology and not just westernized versions, but all of them.

Also, why the need to confirm what you are? Do you really care? Are you looking to connect socially with people like you? Just curious.

Studying and reading this is something I'd like to do but keep procrastinating. To answer your question though, I'd like to be able to respond to a question if I'm asked, as silly as it sounds. I don't like repeating my OP to people should the discussion come up. Plus it gives me an excuse to do some reading.

don't worry, you'll transition into atheism eventually, particularly if you do real research on religion in general.
