Hi everyone,
I've been reading this forum for a while and have found a lot of good advice here. Now I have something to which I couldn't find an answer. I have 2 computer systems at home
AMD64 3000+ s939
ASUS a8v Deluxe (what a pain, but after 2 days it finally working)
512mb Kingston CL3 pc3200
2x80Gb Maxtor 7200rpm SATA HHD (Raid 0 config)
Radeon 9550 Gamer Edition 64mb
and a
AMD 2400+ socket A
Gigabyte ???? (not top of the range last year)
512mb Corsair pc2700 (i think)
80gb Maxtor 7200rpm
Geforce 4 MX480
both running Windows XP and I noticed the difference while installing World of Warcraft on both PCs. The startup is also slower.
Now which is supposed to be faster... the wrong one :S
Now according to the BIOS the AMD64 is running at 1800mhz. Isn't this a little bit low! but i can't change it in the BIOS like i can with the 2400+. Also isn't RAID supposed (a lot) faster than the old IDE.
Hope you guys can help me out...
