what am i going to do with this smoker now...

Since you possess patassium nitrate why don't you just get some red phosphorus and make a nice little friction bomb? Watch out though....the combo is highly unstabe....DO NOT STIR WITH A SPOON!!!!!! HAHAHA
 
Hehe.. a few years back a friend of mine made a nice big pancake of this stuff that produced a tremendous amount of smoke when lit on fire.. We set the thing off on a freeway offramp here, and the whole thing clouded up to where it looked like you were driving into a fog bank. Yeah, we were young and stupid then...

I will tell you that the mixture which you mention does not contain KNO3, but it does contain the red phosphorus, and it does contain a form of potassium, just not KNO3, something a little more reactive and unstable then the KNO3. Sorry, but I will not say what it is, but I don't want to be responsible for anyone blowing off their hand for fingers. This is a very highly sensitive explosive, and is used in such things as party poppers that spay confetti everywhere and the trick pull strings you can buy.

As for the smoke bomb, don't know how the area you live in feels about such, but you might just throw it into the middle of the street or even set if off in your backyard.

Good thing nobody died. I'd be pissed if I was driving and this happend. I'd be really pissed off. Especially if I had a young one with me or anyone else that could have gotten hurt besides me.
