What am I doing wrong when setting up a counter-Strike server?

This is driving me up the wall!

I've setup a CounterStrike server using BP6 with (2) 400Mhz, 16MB TNT video card and 256MB of PC-133 memory chip.

I checked my IP address which is 24.163.83.52 and I'm using RR (roadrunner).

The server is hook to another computer which I use for gaming and cruising at anandtech forum. When I try to access my server using the number above..it kept saying 'server not found'.

Am I missing something?

Thanks for any help.

So you're trying to access your CS server from a LAN? In that case you have to use the IP address of the server's NIC. You can find out your IP (often starts with 192.168.) by starting "winipcfg" in Win9x or ipconfig in Win2000.
