Yes I know its a horrible OS but its all my brother has right now.

Anyway I formated the C: drive and then started doing what this page says do. Well I got to the part that says type setup and hit enter, thats where I'm stuck. It says Bad command or File does not exist. The ME CD is in the correct drive, and I am at the E: drive prompt. I don't have a clue what to do. I hate ME. AHH! Please somebody help. I tried to run the install off the cd but it says its a Win32 app.

have you made more than 1 partition on the hdd?
if you have for example 2 partitions, your cd drive would temporatily become F: with the ram drive.
are you sure you're starting the install with cd support option?

I betting he hasn't loaded the DOS CDROM drivers, and probably doesn't have an "E:" drive.

If your ME disk is not bootable, you'll need to load the DOS drivers from your CDROM (should have come on the driver disk, or go to the vendor's website and download 'em). With the drivers loaded, your CDROM will be visable, then you can run "setup" from there.

BTW: This isn't an ME problem, the same thing would have happened with any of the MS OS's (assuming you don't have a bootable version).

Good Luck

Scott
