I had a lexmark all in one. It died so I had my warranty at the local chain swap it out for me. I opted for the HP printer, I lost my fax but O well, HP is supposed to be better. Well I spent all day a month or so ago trying to reinstall drivers to get the scanner to work. I found that it will only work if I open the scanner software inside the server. So I was fine with that, now a month later I try to scan something to email to someone since I have no fax and the scanner won't work. So the only other option I have is to swap a USB cable to one of my XP Pro machines each time I wanna scan.
I want to know what ALL in One printers have drivers for Server2003 and all their functions work at least on the server itself. For networking I only want printing to work , which it does now with the HP. So basically i have a ALL in One that can't use any of its features except print.
