I see the great websites with javascript and flash and it looks great. What graphic programs do I need to create these cool animated scenes? Anybody know where I should start?

Flash + Fireworks + Dreamweaver is an excellent combo for web development. Flash for the animations, fireworks for the images/rollovers, and dreamweaver to put it all together. I don't use Flash, so I've never attempted to learn it. Fireworks and Dreamweaver both contain some good tutorials that'll get you started.

Allaire Homesite + Adobe Photoshop/Imageready + Macromedia Flash 5 is what the pros use. Expect to spend some big cash... or an hour or so on Bearshare. ;)

As for Javascript, try going to a place such as Internet Related Technologies, their 500-600 example scripts should cover just about any Javascript work you'll need to do.

I like using goLive. Anyone else use this? I haven't played around much with Allaire products. How do they compare?

So you guys suggest with sticking with all macromedia products?
