any reccomendations?

Yeah. Screw airsoft, and buy a real firearm and learn proper sight picture and accuracy. For $300 you can either get a semi AK clone, or build a complete AR lower, or build an FAL, or ???

Rather than play with a BB gun, get something that is gonna have some resale value in 20 years, and learn some gunsmithing in the process.

<--- Can strip bare and assemble an M16-A3 with his eyes closed.

<-- Can strip bare and reassemble a double decker ham and cheese sandwhich with his eyes closed

edit: and spelling is another one of my strong points

also: building a gun is that as difficult/easy as taking apart a gun for cleaning?

Depends on the gun. Something like an M1 Garand or M1903A3 pretty much anyone can learn how to do. Mostly big parts, just not a whole lot to mess up.

Something like a Browning Buckmark pistol is a nightmare to just remove the slide, 30 little fizucking springs go everywhere :|

dude im freakin 17, im not buying a real gun. you cant play around and have fun with a real gun.

lets get sum serious answers

You won't be building a FAL for $300, going with the cheapest parts kit for $150, the cheapest receiver at about $150, you still need to get the US compliance parts, about another $100-150. Not to mention the nightmare in timing and assembling with the cheaper receivers. Then there is having a gunsmith build it if you can't assemble it yourself and refinishing with the cheapest parts kit more than likely being bare. Looking at about $450-500 at least.

FWIW

so other than real guns. any reccomendations??? (jackasses, just dont crap on a thread when i know what i want and why)
