What AIM clients have the ability to save chat logs?

Last time i used trillian it scared me when it would go "HAHAHAHA" in a little girly voice every time "LOL" was said....can i turn those weird ass sounds off?

DeadAIM rocks - but i'm not sure if the new version sends back info to the central server? B/c the new versions need registration. Just get the version prior off betanews or whatever if you dont want to fork over the $5. But even at $5 - you'll wonder how you lived w/o it before.

I assume so, as I have never heard any kind of sound from my Trillian. For me it must have installed off by default.

my cousin is using new version of aim, and it doesn't allow file transfers from people using trillian... :| he had to install trillian just to accept files from me.

Deadaim tabbed feature makes it totally worth it, but I don't like how it keeps all the logged chats organized by date 'cause it's a pain to find something that you have no idea when you said it and their search function isn't all that useful.

Edit: Whoops just realized you like it by date lol. I hate it 🙂 All chat logging AIM apps usually have timestamps for all your chats anyway

I use trillian, it automatically logs every convo...as far as the compatibility issue with other clients, I have had no problems. Maybe takeru was using the older version of trillian.
