What actual speed should I be getting connected to a Gigabit ethernet port?

Well, here it is, in all it's glory. This is still through powerline because my family member isn't home yet with their laptop so I can wire the client side into network as well.

My wired laptop was the server side and my Powerline computer the client.

Here is a picture of the result. Please let me know if I have any info in this I shouldn't, I'm assuming local ips don't matter.

Obviously a very disappointing result so far. I'll be able to test better soon. I guess this shows I definitely shouldn't have my shared folders server computer be this one considering these results.

Second test done with both laptops wired.

Transfer: 438 Bandwidth 367Mbps

That obviously shows Powerline is extremely slow as someone suggested.
