What accessories would you recommend for my new Dell Laptop?

All I have is the machine and an APC notebook surge protector. What else should I get? I am looking for a good carry/case for it. I am also looking for one of those things you attatch to the backside of the screen to protect it. Anyone know what I'm talking about?

Get an extra battery. Then you don't have to worry about car chargers or anything. Extra battery should give you about 8 hours total use. DOn't buy a leather case. May sound dumb, but leather catches eyes more than a regular nylon case, and it may help you hold onto your laptop longer if you travel quite a bit. Other than those two items, I didn't really buy much else. I keep a mouse with me just in case I am able to sit down at a desk. Wireless modem maybe? Oops, the biggest necessity is DVD's (assuming you have a DVD drive). I think I spend more time watching moveis on my laptop then working. I always carried an s-video to rca adapter, and a miniplug to rca audio so when I was in hotels I could watch dvd's on the tv's.

I have a Logitech Cordless Wheelmouse. That works good on this thing. Most of the time, it will be on a computer desk. Any good portable speakers? Whats that GPS unit thingie? Etc., etc,...
