Started my first (and last) college math class today. Sure enough the professor has a thick accent. It is a high-pitched one that sounds like a French/German mix. He rambled on about the textbook author's last name meaning a christmas tree in German, but he sounds like an expatriate frenchman.

What accent does your professor have?

I never took math in college

Unless you count a stats class that had a barely understandable Dr. Cheng ;)

Calc II: French
Calc III: none
Combinatorics: Middle Eastern? East European? My memory isn't being very helpful in this case. All of my professors are starting to blur together. :)

I've never had a math teacher with an accent. I live in Tucson, for reference. And I'm not counting Hispanic accent, because: Everyone here has something of a Hispanic accent; Around here, lack of a Hispanic accent is an accent; and frankly, I can't hear it any more.

None of my math teachers/professors had an accent as far as I can remember... all of my English/Lit teachers and profs were gay though - not that there's anything wrong with that.

I swear, every college English/Lit teacher on the face of the planet is gay/bi/lesbian.

Surprisingly, none. Fully understandable...
Although my MAT124 teacher does have a lisp... and talks loud enough for the class when the class is very quiet.

Well, I hope you know you destroyed my fantasies. I once had what I thought was a hot to trot older English/Lit female instructor. The sadness of lost illusions.

Never took math. College credit in high school FTW.
Closest I ever came:
Probability: Australian dude with not too thick of an accent. Reminds me of a poor, homeless William H. Macey.
Engineering Stats: Indian dude who speaks excellent English.

Always a Russian. Always always always always always a fscking Russian with an accent that is impossible to understand (even thought I understand accents pretty darn well).
