since i have completely given up on geting my via onboard sound to work proper using via codecs, can i just use another codec? and if so, which one?
this worked on my old board, when my cirrus logic codec failed to work with newer versions of direct x, i just downloaded an avance codec which worked fine. i tried the avance and realtek codecs with my via chip though...no sound.
