Pulling the trigger today or tomorrow, but what do you think:

90% gaming rig. Other is random stuff.
Plan to OC

CPU = Intel Core 2 Duo - E6600
Mobo = Gigabyte GA-965P-DS3 (BTW, can you flash the bios on these through DOS?)
RAM = Corsair 2x1gb, DDR2800, 5-5-5-12

Changes?
Or just spiffy?

cheers

EDIT: Forgot to mention I have a Enhance PSU and a ATI x1900xtx

No worrys there!! but you could save a couple bucks with the S3 instead of the DS3 and yes you can flash the Bios from DOS. If you have a Floppy drive. the instructions are in the owners manual and on line at www.gigabyte.us

Thanks, I appreciate it.

Save some money and get the 6400, they tend to OC a bit higher which counteracts the smaller cache and it's cheaper. That either one is more than you need shouldn't be news.

how much of a difference does that cache make? the E6600 has 4mb and the 6400 has 2mb, right?
