For the guys who are losing their hair this may seem like a no-brainer: At least you have hair.

But for those of us who have a full head (mine grows really full and fast)but the grey is creeping in does it bother you?

Being of Italian coloring, greys are showing up more and more these days. Had my first one at 21. I am now 32. Never really thought about it and the wife doesn't care but I have a young face and it is starting to look a bit about of place.

Thoughts.

Use Grecian formula 44. You hair will smell real funny, but the gray will start disappearing slowly.

I have had graying hair since I was in my teens (29 now). As a man, I can't even imagine dyeing my hair. I think it looks distinguished!

Graying hair is sexy.

My husband has 3 and I love those three strands more than all the rest! Ever time I find a new one, I get excited. He has one on his chest now, too. :)

I agree with Isla. Greying hair can be very sexy on guys. :)
Not that I'd want a guy with grey hair now, but I certainly wouldn't mind it later on.

I am just starting to go gray now (59) and dont seem to mind it anywhere except my moustasche. Ive always had to color that even whan my hair was very dark but now a good match is very difficult. Maybe Ill just shave it off ??????????

I have always thought grey hair looked good on men. Though I have to admit the few strands I have started to get did kind of remind me I am getting older. Funny coincidence they started right when the whole divorce thing came to a head...go figure.

Actually, ratkil

My hair started to gray the year I married my husband (that was a veeeeerrrrrry bad year) and I was just thinking that maybe I just don't give him enough grief for him to have gray hair!

Maybe, if I stop being Donna Reed and turn into the wife from Married W/Children, I'll get more grays out of him! :D

On the bright side, I have been told by more than one barber that premature graying means one is very unlikely to go bald. The gray/silver hairs are thicker and stronger than their colored counterparts.

Something I've always wondered about. I don't have even a single grey hair on my head, yet there's a sizable cluster in my beard. Why is that?

Tee_Edwards,

I can tell you that is not true. I'm 22, and I have several gray hairs scattered across my head. My hairline is also receding at such a fast pace that I'll probably be bald by the time I turn 30.

Ilsa, I always thought the woman from Married With Children was pretty hot, maybe that is just me though, or maybe it was because I heard her sing. I thought I saw her on a new show the other day when I was channel surfing.

I prefer Mastey Color Refreshing Shampoo to that Grecian crap.

Then again, maybe I ought to quit using it 'cause I got carded at the liquor store and I ain't even close ...

I'm nowhere near gray hair but as usual I have my opinion :) and here it is :) Why dye? kinda like silicone breasts... maybe not everyone knows their fake but YOU know that it's fake. It's living a lie, it's being a fraud. If you go gray it's just a different stage, it does not mean you are less active, or less succesful, it just means the melatonin content of your hair has decreased. Big deal, so what? if your body says it's time to go gray it only means what you make of it.

I've had grey hair since I was about 27. It sucks big time. When you figure out the answer let me know. Having a full head of hair (mostly) makes it even worse because there is so much of it. And it's so friggin' wirey. Yuck! Call 911! Fashion emergency, fashion emergency!!!! :p :p

By the way, I had my hair professionally died twice in my 30's and it looked so fake I was embarrassed to go out in public. (Everyone says something about it. And they usually giggle. :( )Grey is still better than dyeing it. We need genetic help. Why is the cure for cancer getting all the money when we have men with grey hair walking around? :p :p

I don't believe the "distinguished" comments. (Sorry, Isla!) Distinuished is synonymous with "extinguished"-at least from my vantage point.

I'm 49 and hardly have any visible grey hair on my head but my beard has quite an abundance. I think that nothing looks as ridiculous as an older man with dyed hair. You can spot it a mile away and for some rerason it makes them look even older. It makes the skin look pastey white because of the contrast. It's about as bad as a comb-over . If you have grey hair -learn to like it. The chicks dig it and it's part of growing up. I don't mind it in girls either...salt and pepper hair is cool.

I'm starting to get a few white hairs in my beard. (Guess I'm going to skip the gray stage!) None on top of my head though and I'll be 47 in a couple of weeks. I work with a couple of guys who die their hair and it's the phoniest "look" I've ever seen. I'll stay "natural," thank you very much.

Women dig grey on a guy(unless it's growing in your ears)I'm 38 and about a third grey.Women ask me if I frost it.I like to think it represents experience. So to answer your question;no it don't bother me at all.

a biased sample, no doubt
