What About Gold Connectors and Oxygen Free Copper?

If you're running a very high system, and plan on having it hooked up for a few years, gold connectors and oxy-free is probably a good idea. Won't so much help with signal, but will prevent corrosion between connections, especially if you live in an environment where stuff tends to corrode faster (salt air from the ocean, NE, high humidity).

I had Gold connectors on my car battery but sadly the connection went bad anyways because the wire that went to the starter had the old crappy copper connector.

It caked up really bad and it was connected under the car so I had to crawl under there and clean it off and then cut off the old connector and add a fat gold one.
