Hey, has anyone heard anything about Gigabyte's nf4 SLi board? It seems recently all the hype has been about Asus' SLi board, and while Asus is indeed a tier 1 mfgr, I had my hopes up for Gigabyte to pull through before x-mas. I've already suffered 2 heart attacks just waiting for this thing to come out, and it seems the Asus boards, while on the market, are insanely priced ($276 or more). I'm not willing to pay more than $240 for a board, unless its gold plated and comes with a supermodel wife. Thx for any info.

yeah, reviews of the gigabte ultra and SLI boards have been extremely promising. They will no doubt be fanstastic boards, and i'd have bought one, if Asus hadn't beaten them to the punch. I saw the Asus SLI for $201, and i had to jump on it. Anyways, i think gigabyte and asus are gonna be the main SLI players for a while (that MSI board sucks... come on, no PCIe x1 slots? weak!), and you won't be unhappy with either, unless they really fudge up the final shipping boards (which i doubt, since review boards were working retail samples)

Well, it has Creative onboard audio compared to Realtek on the others, and it's not more expensive because pf it.

No PCI-E 1X sucks, but since I have NO PCI cards on my system right now I don't really care about it.
