hai-ya! (like a karate chop!)
Heh... I may have to write another poem in which I incorporate "hai-ya" and "ai-ya".

But for now, I'm going to finish this one...

What I have so far (warning: MEGA-CHEDDAR-SWISS-PROVOLONE AHEAD):
I love you...
Are the words that she hears
Sweet-honey words for her sweet-hungry ears
Ears that hear his lullabies, soft smooth
Reveres that soothe and quiet the cries of her fears
I love you...
Are the words that she tastes
On his lips on his tongue on his chest on his face
Facing him, she savors his embrace and then
Knows--of love they will never go hungry again
I love you...
Are the words that she sees
A reflection of her he holds in his eyes, three
People, one picture--a future family (not a phyla)
A father, a mother, and their baby girl, Nyla
Heh. I tried to squeeze "phyla" in there.

Working on the last 2 stanzas now... (remaining 2 senses)
