What a weird superstition . . .

My kid sister has a Korean roommate who's been hounding her about her fan in the evenings, that's why I looked into it.

I think it was a theme that was used more than once, and started out as a cat.
 
tell your sisters roomate or whatever that i've used a fan in a closed room for probably 10+ years with no problems at all.
