What a way to wake up this morning.

I bought a 12 week old male Burmese kitten December 26, 2005. He is pretty cool and gets lots of attention. He got the litter box routine down after one accident the first hour he was here.

Then this morning happened... :(

I wake up to luke warm kitty pee on my bed/conforter/me. So I get out of bed, grab kitty, and toss him in the litter box. He immediately comes back to bed and starts his normal routine of biting, running, playing, and jumping around like an idiot. I was fvcking with him a little bit before doing my three NEW loads of laundry. He then proceeds to pinch off a loaf on the bed, right in front of me! Kitty didn't last much longer on the bed...

Weird thing is, kitty went where he usually sleeps...:Q:disgust:

Facts: (may or may not be important)

1. I have litter boxes both upstairs and downstairs. The one upstairs (3 ft. from my bedroom) is in a bathroom. He seems to prefer that one and has no problem getting there and going there at night..
2. I have an old Chow. Kitty doesn't particularly like the dog, but the dog wasn't even upstairs this morning when this occurred.
3. The litter boxes are VERY clean.
4. Kitty's food and water are downstairs on an end table b/c the dog will eat his food.
5. I called and left a message with the breeder 15 minutes ago.

I did a seach here and found a thread about older cats peeing, but not the loaf pinching.

Any clues?

Edits are for spelling and new nfo.

Ed. 1: Spelling, and kitty did not appear to be p|ssed off when this occurred.
Ed. 2: I didn't know what year it was. :)

It's a cat's way of saying I'll kill you the next time you sleep... [preps the claws]

a urinary track infection will make them do that. One of are cats had one and a trip to the vet and some meds fixed him her up.

Can they get those at 14 weeks? Would that explain the loaf too?

I dont know the answer to the 14 weeks question. As for the second part, my cat was crapping in odd places to. But once the UTI was cleared up that also stopped.

He's a figment of your imagination. :)

I'll take him to the vet on Monday:

Me: "Kitty was stuck in a temporal vortex and used my waterbed as a litterbox"
Doc: "Weird, eh?"

TechITguy: Thanks, sounds like a trip to the vet is in order...
