I have to sit home today waiting for the state fire inspectors to come inspect my townhouse.
Of course they give you a window from 9-2. Very convienient for people with jobs! :roll:

I'm sure the guy will be here for all of 3 minutes to hit the test button on the smoke detector and see that my grill is far enough from the house.

This sucks, I can't even leave to get breakfast because I know they will show up while I'm gone.


oh well, at least I'm not at work!

<update> They showed up almost 12:00. The guy was here for less than a minute.
Tested the smoke detector, asked me a few questions and was out the door.

Mandatory state inspection of smoke/carbon monoxide detectors, and general fire safety.
It is required for any complex that has multiple attached units.
