Check the mail today and I see a package, thought it was for my brother (hes been ordering alot of crap lately), and I see a box for me from Gillette. "Happy 18th Birthday" the box says. I open it, and I see a Mach3 Turbo Razor and a can of shaving gel. Awesome!

I am not 18 yet, that'll be another week, but this was a pleasent suprise. I'm not all that hairy yet either, a little peach fuzz here and there I have to shave every other day. I was thinking of picking up a pack of razors, but thanks to Gillette, I don't have to.

Thanks Gillette!

Usually, you start growing hair "down under" well before you hit 18. Delayed puberty? :p

See, they're just like a drug dealer. Give you that free sample and next thing you know you're taking your possessions to the pawn shop so you can afford the blades. ;)

Everyone here seems to be talking about the price of the blades.... how much are they?

The last time I bought blades it was from Sam's club... a box of.. I think 25... new blades was 35 dollars. If you buy in any other store they will be about 8-10 dollars for one pack of 5, I think.

I got one when I turned 18 as well, it wasn't the Turbo (wasn't invented yet :p), but it was still pretty cool

I miss More.com
back before the bubble burst, it was an internet drugstore type place (no prescription stuff, though). They had tons of deals where if you got someone to sign up, you got $5 or $10 free. So me and my wife started like 20 yahoo e-mail accts each and racked up the free money. At one point, I had like 20 things of deoderant, a couple of 20 packs of Mach3 refills, & bunch of soap sitting in the bathroom closet. No wonder they didn't last into 2001.

I miss the bubble days

I'm owned by the Mach3 for life now. Recently upgraded to the championship edition in red. No, I don't shave any faster because it's red.
