What a mean teacher

I saw this earlier today... did they verify that the teacher did it on purpose or not? Just a bunch of useless speculation is all I read.

I think her hand accidentally grabbed the microphone unintentionally and did not realize that her hands were picking up a microphone.
 
With no background, we have no basis for judgement. Was the child supposed to have a speaking role at that time?

Even if he was supposed to have a speaking role, the longer he freezes, the more likely the 300 kids in the audience start their attention wandering.

IOW, keep it moving.
