If she was a great wife she'd pose for some pics for you to post up here.

She is waay too much of an introvert for that plus I dont have any pictures of any of us on the internet because it just never seemed like a particularly wise thing to do.

Oh yeah...I keep notes as well.

"You know, I really like this flowery widget. That would make a nice birthday present if you don't know what to get."

/me scribbles furiously in notebook...and steals picture from magazine/newspaper, etc.

Sometimes I'll buy it early...just in case, but that's often not been a good idea.
"WTF? Why did you buy me this?" 😡

"Because, on May 23, you told me you liked it and suggested it as a birthday present.":\

"Not possible. I think that's retarded...but thank you anyway, the thought was good."

🙄

Damned wimmenz...about the time a guy thinks he has teh rulez figured out...they change the damned rules.

You can't win. But she'll be happy to remember anything you've ever said and try to hang you with it.

To each their own. Cut flowers die and cards aren't any more useful than actually SAYING the words or showing them through your day to day actions.

I do that too.

Cut flowers look nice in a room and they smell nice. Plus she likes them so I buy them for her from time to time. Nothing really expensive, just the dozen roses from the local market or the mixed flower bouquet.
