we went downtown to watch the fireworks. It really meant something this year though. The city didnt have enough money to put on a fireworks show, so they had cancelled the whole thing. A group of businesses in the area got together and raised the funds to put the show on. I have never seen so many people show up for the fireworks. Everyone was getting along and talking to strangers. I had bought way too many fireworks, so I was handing out sparklers and snakes to the kids that were around us (after asking the parents first of course.)

The fireworks were awesome. Best ever IMO. The boy had a blast. And there were plenty of scantily clad young ladies walking around. I took some pics but they didnt turn out too well.

I just wanted to brag about my night. Hope yours was good as well.
 
heh we set some off at the new house. My daughter would yell "boom daddy boom!" if i was to slow on setting them off.

The funny thing is that flying and exploding fireworks are supposed to be illegal in oregon, but that's all you hear.. lol
 
Ah yeah today was sweet, hung out with the family today at the pool, had some barbecue, took a nap, got up and made some barbecue chicken, then went over to my friends house, which is seriously MTV cribs - $3million house plasma tv's everything, they had 5grand worth of fireworks they shot off (just about all of them illegal, except the sparklers which they used to light the rest of the stuff 😛) Good times.
