Just got a call from a friend who works w/this guy and apparently he's been calling people there to see if anyone could pick him up. Appears he was trying to carry a 9mm gun (supposedly he forgot about it in his bag). He was callling people down there to see if someone could pick him up but no one will...they don't want to be associated with him or something. heh...I wouldn't either!
What a moron!! And I know the guy, too. Used to work down there, myself. He's a nice guy but...geez...how can you *forget* you have a gun in your bag when you go thru airport security these days?!
UPDATE: It was a .40 Smith & Wesson with 10 rounds, including one in the chamber! He's been arrested and being questioned by the FBI. And...they just said he was arrested, as well, for having an outstanding warrant!

Man Found With Gun At Louisville Airport
Weapon Found In Carry-On Luggage
LOUISVILLE -- An Arizona man was arrested at the Louisville International Airport Friday after security guards found a gun in his carry-on luggage.
Jason Jennings, 27, of Gilbert, Ariz., was stopped around 2 p.m. at the airport's security checkpoint, according to David Beyer, supervisory special agent for the FBI in Kentucky.
Beyer said Transportation Security Administration employees discovered a loaded 40-caliber Smith and Wesson semiautomatic pistol in a bag Jennings was carrying.
Jennings was a ticketed passenger on a flight to Phoenix.
Beyer says there's no indications Jennings, who cooperated with authorities, had any criminal intent. Jennings was charged with carrying a concealed deadly weapon.
