What a difference cleaning out the dust can be!

My cpu temperture been high, but my case temp remain low. So today, I clean out all the dust balls on my cpu fan and it drops my temperture from 42 to 35 idle. I think I will clean it every couple months or when cpu temp seems high.

cleaning inside your case really should be part of the normal mantainance for your pc even if you've got air filters for the intake fans!

I go at it with a paint brush and vacuum every couple weeks. Surprising how much dust is on parts when you dismantle or receive them on deals. I have a paint brush by each computer in a pen jar.

I'd be very hesitant to use a brush of any description inside the case as brushing with it can build up static electricity which can potentially kill your m/board.
compressed air is by far the safest method!

Just take it out to an air compressor if you have one and blast away!! LOL
