the main story is that there's no signs of life from the coal miners that they're trying to rescue...

Being the son of a coal miner of 25 years I unfortunately dont think there is much hope for the miners. Its really sad because their families are still waiting for news of their parents/husbands etc. I know any time my dad was even late getting home we got nervous. Its not like he could have even called to let us know being a few thousand feet underground

I can only imagine the conditions down there. No light and in the darkness with almost no air and a thousand feet of ground above you. Not to mention the gases being seeped out of the ground and humidity, the terror. I don't know what I'd do in those situations.
I sincerely hope they get rescued.
