Was 21-0 at halftime, LSU got there points mainfly off turnover's. A crappy ass offense with a defense that had a secondary exposed by Vols offense (that stinks). How the heck do the writers rank them as high as 3?

Anyways go TROJANS (I just recently joined the bandwagon, you should too, there's plenty of room)

I still say it's all about UGA...

...but being here at LSU, I'm sure there are going to be quite a few PO'd people on campus tomorrow. Tennessee didn't look all that great, either, so here's to hoping Georgia takes them down in two weeks.

Gah, bandwagon fans are irritating. Pick a team and stick with it.

Bah, TN has sucked all year but has had the weapons to have an offensive explosion. It took them 11 quarters to finally wake the hell up. I guarantee you that you won't be able to make a claim against their offense for the rest of the season. This game was won by their defense. Look at the numbers and perhaps you'll understand how much worse that LSU lead could have been. I just hope the damn quarterback flip-flop is over.

And btw, for you Pac 10 fans who root for USC, the reason you don't see this kind of 'boxing' type football in your conference is because there is USC and then there are a bunch of teams who our beloved Vanderbilt could probably beat up on. Once you have a schedule that boasts Florida, LSU, Georgia, Alabama, and Notre Dame(non-conference for UT this year) type opponents year in and year out then come and tell me how great your league is. That's basically 5 big time bowl games and it doesn't even count the 6th if you go to the league championship.

I think they'll end up 4-1 (MTSU has won the last two at Vandy) but at best 5-1. :) Nothing against them at all though because I live in the Nashville area and I think it's a great thing for the university and the fans who have lived through losing record seasons for god knows how long. I think the last time they were 4-0 was in the '40s :p

Clausen looked great, but I wouldn't call Tennessee's offense 'explosive' by any means. They were mostly throwing a lot of very short high percentage passes while mixing in the run a little. Clausen did a fantastic job of executing and they ate up a lot of clock while wearing out LSU's defense. It was pretty much the prototypical offense I think of when I think of Tennessee. They just executed it much MUCH better with Clausen at the helm.

I have yet to meet an SEC fan that hates Vandy. Everybody seems to pull for them...unless Vandy is playing them.

It's hard to hate a team that never beats you. :p BTW, I didn't intentionally leave Auburn out of my SEC team list. It's just that I'm about 99% sure they aren't on the Tennessee schedule this year. Thank God. Road games to Bama, Notre Dame, Florida, and LSU should be enough for any team to handle.

No, we don't have UT this year. It's South Carolina's turn on the schedule...it's kinda wierd, I keep expecting to see UF on the schedule every year (I started attending AU in 1992)

Don't worry, we play UF enough to make up for anyone else who doesn't.

I hope you beat the hell out of UF. Florida fans are some of the worse in the SEC followed closely by LSU fans. LSU fans are quirky, they're horrid when travelling but incredibly gracious when at home.

I do, too. I'd almost be willing to lose every other game assuming we were able to kill UF (and GT, of course). Almost.

At least we never really have to play them "away," although I still say Jacksonville favors UF fans moreso than us. Oh well.

I'd be willing for you guys to lose the AU game :)

Honestly though, Kenny Irons looks like he has tremendous potential for AU and could develop into a stud RB. Shockley hasn't really impressed me yet...he shows flashes of brilliance and then makes freshman mistakes.

I came into town over the weekend to watch it at one of the local bars on Saturday night. Needless to say the trip was wasted but the result was still what I wanted. :)

Wait a month. They are only getting better. Every game they play has shown improvement. If they continue on this pace, they will be quite impressive in a month. They have some tough games coming up but I think if they win those, they won't even hesitate in Jacksonville.
