What 4K TV to Buy?

I am looking for a 4K Ultra 40-43 inch TV with 4 HDMI inputs that has little to no input lag and has phenomenal picture quality and great 120hz motion processing. What TV is best for me in the market? What TV do you guys recommend?
 
Must have HDCP 2.2 support.
Amazing how many 2.0 are out there.
I'm a big fan of Vudu 4K offerings. The 4K UHD movies look and sound great off Vudu.
The new 4K version of Roku does will work with Vudu and HDCP 2.2 TV's.
I don't know what to suggest, but I know what not to suggest.
The newly released 2016 Vizio with SmartCast built-in was real mess to work with.
I still like LG. And Samsung's.
But I would not get anything not manufactured in 2016.
 
VIZIO D40u-D1 or VIZIO M43-C1? Having hard time deciding? Which tv has better picture quality black levels uniformity? Which tv has best true 120hz motion processing? Which tv has no input lag problem for gaming?
 
Unless you plan on using it like a computer monitor sitting up close, then at 43" I wouldn't bother spending more just for 4K. 65" and up is the gray area from your couch where 4K begins to make sense.

No I am not using 4k tv as monitor but I do like to sit close up to tv so 4k will be perfect. So which vizio 4k is the better tv overall? E43u-D2 or M43-C1?
 
Bought a LG 65UH8500 the other day. It's my first 4k tv. It will be fine for me till oled becomes affordable.
 
I'm buying the M43-C1 to use as my monitor. It's highly reviewed, and can be found refurb online for 399.00 It only has one 2.2 port though.

I have one of those setup with a BRIX mini PC. It's probably the best PQ & best physical design 4K TV to use as a monitor I've used to date (out of Vizio, Seiki, HiSense, etc.).

Should I go for a 4k TV with HDR? Is HDR worth it? Which 4K tv is best overall for gaming sports watching movies? E43u-D2 , M43-C1 or this Sharp LC43N7000U at pc richards?
 
All - he says he wants 120hz processing...which none of the vizios in his size range has. They may say they do...but you have to look for the effective refresh rate, not the rate with "smooth motion" or any of that crap applied.

Heck...I'm not sure of any smaller tvs that do 120 natively - and if they do, they are going to be part of each manufacturer's higher end model lines.
 
I'm narrowing it down to 3 tvs. Sharp LC43N7000U, Vizio M43 C1, or Vizio E43U D2? Which of 3 tvs is the best for gaming, sports, movies etc? I assume HDR is the way to go but am I really missing out on HDR?
 
Just make sure you have the ISP bandwidth to cover 4K. If you have DSL, you'll never buffer enough to see 4k reliably.

You need at least 15mb, and by saying 15 I really mean 15 and not your provider billing you for that rate (cuz, you'll only see something like 11 or 12mb in that case).

Note that all of these are not HDR, and not 120Hz.
Also, for gaming you will want to make sure motion interpolation is turned OFF and you are using HDMI 5.

HDR is great for MOVIES that are encoded for HDR, but useless for other content (like the DVD's/ BD's you may already have).

WTH is HDMI 5? You mean 2.1?
 
the HDMI port labeled #5 (On the back/ side, Shaded in YELLOW, marked 4K@60Hz 1080p & Higher).

You sure all those tvs I chose don't have hdr? I'm pretty sure M43 C1 and the Sharp have hdr. I know The E43U D2 does not have hdr. So I'm thinking I'll go with either the sharp LC43N7000U or M43 C1 but it's still tough to decide.

I am not aware of a budget priced HDR set, nor one less than 55" in size...

Hey Kartajan, Something in my gut is telling me to buy the Sharp LC43N7000U. You think I should stay away from the E43U D2?
