What 17" monitor should i buy?

Has anyone seen any reviews on 17" monitors of late? or got any reccomendations.

I'm thinking
- Viewsonic VS-EF70
- Viewsonic VS-PF775
- LG Flatron 795FT Plus

Hm... Amazon has the Samsung SyncMaster 700NF for $248 shipped after coupon, I think that would be the best 17" to get.

Samsung are good, unless you fell the need to get a Sony CPD-G200

Sam's club has KDS AV-7TF for $199.98 - Sony trinitron absolutely flat screen.
Goes for $270 elsewhere.

My Samsung 700NF has been really good. Of course, when my uncle gets his 1200NF, I'm not going to be too happy about my 700NF..

i think you should go with the viewsonic ef70. it's been on pcworld's best buy list for a few months already. it used to be the sony cpd-e200 but once viewsonic released the ef70, the sony's been put to second. they're both great monitors, but since it comes this close, i'd go with whatever's cheaper. you can get the ef70 for 250 at onvia and the cpd-e200 for 323.35 at onvia also. i also saw there's a 50 dollar rebate for the sony. don't know the details about that. go to techbargains.pricegrabber.com and look up the monitors.

The Samsung 700NF still has the highest specs among all the monitors mentioned here.
