What 15" LCD do you recommend?

I'm shopping around for a desktop 15" LCD. It doesn't need to be fancy, and I don't need DVI because VGA is fine for 1024x768@60Hz. What I do want is some quality, but nothing expensive. Basiclly, I want the best bang for the buck.

What 15" LCDs have you used? What do you recommend?

🙂

I already have a bunch of large monitors, mostly 21" CRTs. I just need a good 15" LCD for a PC that needs to be compact and won't be used very often.

Viewsonic makes good inexpensive LCD's. But why wouldn't you want DVI? LCD's look like crap without DVI. You just may as well use a CRT.

Not all LCD's look bad without DVI. Especailly smaller ones.

I think the VA520 is worth a shot from Viewsonic coming in around $300..

Granted you can find a bunch of off brands in the 200-250 range. Really depends how much you want to drop.

Neweggg doesn't carry it, (VA520 ) but the 510 is worth a shot..

The VX910 is one of favorite 19" LCD's the bezel and stand are just awesome.

Have not seen the 15" in person but have seen the 17" and 19" and they are both pretty nice.
