I've been reading reviews online on the best steakhouse in Southern California; the unanimous winner are Lawry's Prime Rib and Morton's, both located in Beverly Hills. Since they are a bit far from where I am living so I settled for the next best thing, Houston in Pasadena CA.
Whao, I was very impressed by their steaks. My friends and I ordered the filet mignon, hawaiian rib eye, and the Prime Rib. Being a diehard fan of Filet Mignon, I actually prefered their Prime Ribs. It was much better than San Francisco's House of Prime Rib, while the other steaks are similiarly fabulous. I tried Ruth's Chris in Palm Desert and was somewhat disaappointed.
We ain't no professional food-tasters but we were all very satisfied with the food's quality and the resturant's atmosphere; the service was so-so though, but maybe that's because we look like kids to them. The bill was 120 bucks; that was a quite alot of money but it was all worthwhile.
