Wh000p! Packers 1-0

I knew Delhome was questionable in his "greatness" and he really didn't show anything last night. Packers O-Line simply dominated what is argued to be the best D-Line in the game. Green looked like MVP material and Favre was solid too.

Hopefully the trend continues and the Pack out performs what they are expected to do.

1-0 is a good start nonetheless.... and the Bears next week so thats a gimme win 🙂

that was definitely a good win.

the defense has done a good job with the blitzing, but i am still worried about their ability to 'give-up' on almost all of the third-and-long situations. it's frustrating when you see them make a terrific stand for two plays that resulted in a third-and-twelve, but are almost sure that they will blow up the coverage in the next play and give up the first down.

Shhhhhhhhhh.... lets keep that as quiet as we can.
Their biggest weakness right now is the secondary. Its VERY scary, espeically in a league that is becoming pass-happy. Luckily it looks as if McKenzie is going to get off his high-horse and resign as early as today so that is a huge boost and sigh of relief in the secondary positions.

it's not like it's nationally televised last night 🙂

about McKenzie, you mean re-sign right? are you sure? i think the Pack enjoyed it so much when they gave that contract extension to Al Harris a few days ago. heheh...

I was at the game yesterday. Delhomme didn't look sharp at all, he maybe a one year wonder. The crowd was effectively put out of the game and fans started leaving by the 3rd quarter. Talk about fairweather fans! 🙂 All in all, a good game, but it's only the first. It's a long season.

Go Pack Go!

Actually, Al Michaels was saying last night that McKenzie and Sherman apparently aren't trying to mend any fences, and his agent, Drew R., said McKenzie had probably played his last game in GB and they were seeking a trade ASAP.

Is that true?

Hopefully the trend continues and the Pack out performs what they are expected to do.

Go Pack Go!

*puts on robe and cheesehead* W00t Pack! 😀

It was a great game, for sure! Delhomme looked frustrated for the entire game, though. I think he kind of gave up in the 3rd quarter. He didn't even look at all excited about hitting Muhammed wide open for the TD.

As for McKenzie, he would be a great assett to GB, but I say they just let him throw fits, not get paid, and leave him in negotiations all year.

People were leaving in the 3rd?
That makes no sense. What a bunch of losers (pun intended).

I could have sworn I heard/read somewhere that McK was likely to come back. Maybe it was a dream I guess, ugh Packers 2ndary is weak as hell then. I fear Al Harris. He just never has made me comfortable. I liek Roman a lot though.

Man I SWEAR even last night they mentioned that if McK came back that the Packers would maybe have to release Jue or that 1st rounder. It wasn't during the game, but local newscast I caught during half-time.

I missed the game. Is Favre still throwing up hail mary's and jump balls to his receivers like last year? Just remember Packer fans: 4th and 26! 😉

Favre didn't have that good of a game, but with the Panthers inability to stop Ahman Green and cover the blitzing Packers defense it was not necessary

I'm willing to bet that half the people there had never seen a football game until January of this year.

Exactly... the Packers didn't need anything special from Farve to get the win... the Panthers' D was completely confused with the Packers' play-calling...
