You're not looking at the big picture. Perfecting the pizza-bot is a necessary step towards the ultimate goal, which is a perfect hookers and blow bot. THAT will be the pinnacle of human achievement and this is how we get there eventually.

You know, all kidding aside, this really is how Skynet will start. The pizza bots will have to be armed to defend themselves from meth heads. And they'll learn to communicate with the Amazon drones that are also armed to defend themselves and presto, the robot overlords get both an army and an air force.

Neat idea but some assholes would probably jack the bot off the street. It would probably work here in the north though but replace the wheels with tracks.

What you see here is DRU (Domino's Robotic Unit), an autonomous delivery vehicle built in collaboration with Australian technology startup Marathon Targets that Domino's says is the first of its kind. It's filled with thousands of dollars worth of military robotics tech, but its covert mission has been to deliver fresh pizza to the residents of Queensland.
