Wet/Dry Vac

we have had some minor flooding and water will pool in places far from the sump pump. we also had a laundry detergent spill.

would a wet/dry vac be a good purchase to remedy these issues or would the detergent cause trouble for it?

thanks in advance.

Just buy a floor squeegee and push the water to the sump hole. Vac would do okay since laundry soap doesnt make much suds.

hmm for the flooding a wet/dry is fine. and bctbct is right. i don't think alaundry soap would hurt since they don't have many suds.
