the westy 37 is the best price/performance out there.. i have one and i was very impressed by it.

if you play a lot of games and watch movies i highly recommend it..

however, if you are more into graphic design / photoshop / 3d applications, etc I would recommend a 3007 or dual 20-24" setup for all the workspace.

I own the Westinghouse 32w6 and love it. I purchased it last May for around $850 after tax. The screen resolution 1360x768 is perfect for me. I use the screen as my computer monitor and also watching DVDs, HD recordings, and HDTV. It's great to be able to switch with a press of a button between PC and HDTV. I chose the 32w6 over the 37w3 because of price and the look of the bezel. I wish Westinghouse had kept the bezel the same for all their models.

Go westy and never look back.

What are you waiting for?

Getting it with dead pixels and damaged during shipment :(

Then your not going to buy any LCD monitor correct?
This can happen to any monitor you buy.

Just get the extended warranty like 99% of westy owners do.

Not really, i can always buy it locally and just exchange it till it has none. How good is the warranty though?

I got the 5 year in house warranty for less than what the place was charging for the 3 year.
100% in home, no shipping.

Covers everything, and includes cleaning I think once a year if you want.

I'm not sure what the dead pixel policy was, I had no problems with any pixels so.

And I talked them into free 2nd day shipping, and getting the 5 year warranty for less than the 3 year.

Keeps pushing me away at this point. Probably gonna pass on the westy as the only places that have it for 1k are online. Rather get it locally so i can return and get another if i have problems or dead pixels.

Most people got it online without any issues. Go check out the giant Westy 37" thread I made over in the display forum at HardOCP if you want a lot of testimonials. Personally I'd never opt for a 20-22 in just because of the fear of getting a dead pixel.
