Hello.
A friend of mine has a Westinghouse LTV-32W6HD 720p LCD TV that has some kinda problem where when you turn it on the screen looks pink with vertical lines and also has a faint snowy looking box usually on the lower left side. The sound works fine.
I would like to attempt to repair the TV myself if at all possible....does this sound like something as simple as a bad capacitor or something worse that might cost more then its worth to repair?
also the tv is long out of warranty so getting it repaired that way is not an option.
