Woot.com has the 42" one for $1055 right now. About the same price as a 37" Westinghouse v3, but it's refurbished.

I have owned 3 in the last year. Never had a single dead pixel.

Did have one go bad after a month though, this is from my post about that.

I got mine from MWAVE, box came a little banged up, bit torn but it worked fine.

The panel burned out after a month though, they told me RMA process would probably take a little over a month including shipping time from start to finish.

Luckily I live in SOCAL, so their office was only 7 miles away. I drove it down to Westinghouse and turned it in to save shipping time expecting them to work on it and return it to me in 3 weeks. The guy says hang on, takes it inside 3 minutes later comes out says, "It's a bad panel here is a brand new one."

Me "Sweet".

All around a good experience.

Got mine from Buy.com for $1100 including extended warranty. Have not had a single issue with it so far (been about 4 months). Bright, good color, makes an awesome monitor. Makes my 2005 FPW seem TINY next to it. Their shipping was really good too. Box came in perfect condition.

I ordered mine from PCNation. It was $1051 w/free shipping, but I opted for the 3 year in-home warranty as well which brought my total to a hair under $1200. The 3 year extended warranty doesn't kick in until Westinghouse's 1 year warranty expires, so it's a total of 4 years. And I went with PC Nation over Newegg because the rep told me that they'd actually attempt to make me happy if I received a unit with dead pixels. Newegg's dead pixel policy kinda sucks, as they won't do ANYTHING unless you have at least 6 or 8 on your panel.

Anyway, 0 dead pixels on mine. I got lucky the first time around. Overall, as a PC monitor... (ba da ba ba ba) I'm lovin' it! :D

Got mine here

I was able to talk them down on the warranty.
And got 2nd day shipping free.

Packaged PERFECT and I had no issues with them at all!

Smoooooth talking lol
Believe me they want your business, I just haggled with them alot.
They knew I was ready to buy, so they didn't want me to hang up the phone.
I never buy big items online, I always call and do it in person. That way you have the option of sweetening the deal with warranties and all that.
Give it a try what do you have to lose?

Edit: BTW I would recommend some sort of extended warranty if you buy it. I have had no problems in the 8 months or so I've had mine, but you never know.
Just so you know I got the 5 year extended warranty for less than what there charging for the 3 year ;)

Good luck!

Just got mine Monday. It's incredible. The only concern I have is not being able to run any kind of ????x1200 res at 1:1, I've been running 1600x1200 for years, and 1440x1080 for unstretched 4:3 material is a step down in that regard.

Pixel pitch was an initial concern as I'm sure it is for anyone considering this monitor, but one look and that concern goes out the window. Despite running 1920x1080 on a 37" screen it just looks like any other LCD monitor. Very sharp and very unforgiving of JPEG and MPEG compression.

No ghosting at all, just the typical blur of moving images on LCD (ie: try reading fine text while moving the window around, no LCD is immune to this regardless of response time) and I've stuck with my Sony F500R CRT for years after trying various LCDs such as the 213T Samsung, etc.

Can't wait to take this baby to a LAN and watch people shake their heads in disgust :D

Except for 4:3 material, for example games like Warcraft III that support wide screen resolutions but have a fixed FOV that isn't proportional to the resolution settings. I traditionally run 4:3 material at 1600x1200, but on a 1080p display, that would be 1440x1080, or a step down from what I've been using since I paid $1700 for a F500R and long before LCDs on the desktop existed; years :)

Of course I run 1920x1080 for anything that supports it.

I've ordered 2 of these from Newegg, no dead pixels on either one. Anyway its a really nice monitor, I am really impressed witht he colors on it. I use it mainly for gaming, with a couple movies now and then, and it works really well for both.

I just ordered the $799 deal at Costco :)

The problem is my PNY 6600 256mb GeForce states on the box supports HDTV, 1900x1200 for flat panel and 2048x1536 for CRT.

Does this mean I wont be able to run 1920x1080?
