Westinghouse 37" HDTV is $799 at Costo.com

Im so pissed right now. i just returned a monitor and got cash back for around 740$ but thats about 2 months ago and its long gone.

I am seriously thinking about getting this. However due to my location it will end up costing me $800 + $40 + $65 + $40 = 945 (Shipping, Tax, Non member surcharge.). As the nearest costco is a three hour drive from me.
Is it still hot in your opinions with that price? I have held out for several months so far waiting on the right deal for a new monitor/TV and I am hoping this is the one. Planned usage is. Monitor first (yay PC games!), display for 360/ps2/other systems second , third a movie screen for watching dvds, lastly a TV for watching the 3-4 shows I actually like. ASSUMING it should work well for my intended applications. Is it worth dropping the money for? Or should I wait a few more months, or maybe even till a large sale like black friday.

Yes.

1080p with DVI and 90 day return policy.

Check out the pictures in this thread: http://www.hardforum.com/showthread.php?t=1088497

I saw and ordered this on Friday and I checked for posts but saw none. I really thought someone would have put it up, so I figured it was just a average deal...

Little did I know it actually is a Hot Deal.

BTW Only $22 Shipping to me in So. Cal.

Damn, this is HOT!
Cheapest $$$ but a nice 1080p set in the making.
I've now got 4 tvs in the house, do I need one more?

Costco will have a 42" Vizio 1080P LCD (Their new generation with a new chipset) for $999 at the end of June....

This is a good deal as well 🙂

You have no idea how tempting this is... I already have a nice 30", but I dunno... I think I am going to wait... Wow, I feel a fire in my pocket and it isn't a rabit!

i ordered this the other day. i believe this is online only as they either don't carry this in store or is only an online only price? i've been following this tv for a few months and this is a great price. around $950 is how much i saw this tv going for from a few other sites, but the fact that it was costco finally made me pull the trigger. now i don't have to worry about any dead pixel policies.

Correct, online only. Although you can return it at any CostCo B&M within 90 days for a full refund and no "restocking fee".

Considering Best Buy has this on sale for $1349 right now... I'd say yes, that is still a good deal. 😉

If you can afford it, I would buy it.

Nope, it doesn't have an HD tuner.

If you have a cable/satellite box then you're ok. Or if you have an HTPC with HDTV tuner card.

If you're going to use this primarily for watching TV, I would find an LCD with a built in HD tuner and use an antenna.

If I buy this I'll probably use it mostly as a monitor and possibly connect it to an HDTV tuner for the PC.

I called my local CostCo yesterday who confirmed you can return this for a full refund including shipping within 90 days.

Sweet deal, wish I could get this and unload the 32 in Olevia that Im using as my PC monitor. Max res is 1280x720, while this beast can do 1920x1080, and has 1080P
