I have a Westinghouse 42 inch LCD and so far, I like it quite a bit. Don't know anything about that unit though.

1920 x 1080 pixel resolution accepts all major DTV signals, including 1080p, 1080i, 720p, 480p plus standard 480i

Of course not. Why would an LCD have an input that can receive its native resolution?

Several 1080p LCDs cannot receive 1080p signals via HDMI. Don't ask me why, probably because they want you to upgrade in a few years. They are limited to 1080i.
