...evidently a new range of LCDs from W'house, bought this as a replacement monitor for my kid's rig (replaced 3 year old Kleer 17 "CRT) and what a beauty.
14MS response, 12/10 native res, D-sub only, couple of small but listenable speakers, 350:1 contrast and 350 nits brightness..with their prominently-hyped HD-Ready technology. Whatever. The Radeon 8500 128Meg pushes it flawlessly.
It looks great, text is super-crisp at native res, and a "turbo" button on front that cycles through three pre-set brightness levels.
Why do I think I'll be using this rig a lot more than before for downstairs browsing and light gaming?
BTW, retail is $249.99.
