that article is a bunch of horsesh1t

maybe they should preface it all with the fact that the japanese are something like 30% less efficient than the US, generally (this obviously does not include companies like Toyota or Sony, the exceptions to the rule)

Agreed. Americans are extremely inefficient, we work much longer work hours than anybody else but our productivity per hour is so much less, making it inline with other countries.

isn't this the society where its considered "normal" to arrive for work like 3 hours early? i think we can blame the problems on THEIR work ethic, not OUR business practices.
