Western Digital WD1200BB - any good?

I heard this drive isnt as quiet as the Maxtor's new drives... comments ?

In addition, i've never had good impressions on the lifespans of WD drives.
 
I have had a 4GB WD fail on me, but a 500MB, 2 13GB, a 20GB and a 120GB that never have/had problems. The 120BB is a nice drive, and it carries a 3YR warranty.
 
Ive got (2) of the BB 120gb drives, they are very quiet indeed, Ive got (1) JB 120gb in my XP box, its also very quiet (and fast!)
 
WD1200JB. Very fast, very quiet, very cool (temp. wise, not street slang, though it is kewl too I suppose). Running great for one full week. 🙂
