Well my Raptor is starting to go I believe because I think it got too hot. I didnt put a fan near the HDD when I installed it and when I checked about an hour after installing it, the temps were at around 60C and the HDD was reporting errors in HD Tune and WD HDD test.

I was wondering if I RMAed it, could I get a larger 7200rpm HDD on my request or will Western Digital not do this? I didnt no these raptors got this hot and I could actually use a larger HDD than 74GB.

Does anyone have any experience in this matter that they can share?
