So my NEW Raptor 150 has had some "bad sectors" that I've "fixed" but yet files continue to go corrupted. So I'm going to RMA it. 2 questions...
1) How long does it usually take for an Advanced Replacement drive to get here?
2) Am I guaranteed to be shipped a BRAND NEW Raptor and not a refurbed or other?
UPDATE:
I called WD and they confirmed that i would receive a "factory refurbished" HDD in my RMA. It sounds like all RMAs are this way....
Also, they wouldn't let me upgrade my 150 the "X" version because it was "too new". The good news is that my warranty is until 2/2011. This really sucks having 2 WD drives die within a year of each other.
