Well now I've been really thinking, that if I'm going to be building a SLI system with a AMD X2 CPU, running two 7800 GT cards, then to me it makes sense to run the fastest SATA drive available and that seems to be the Raptor.
But let's face it these things aren't cheap. So I guess you just set up like two in Raid-0 and only have great gaming performance and the running of all the applications installed, other then that, I would have another SATA drive for storing movies and mp3s on, for this I'll use a Seagate Barracuda 7200.9 ST3300622AS 300GB Serial ATA 7200RPM Hard Drive w/16MB, then you're just going to be running at a more normal speed for a SATA for these movies and mp3s I take, yes?
